Shine is the perfect combination of temperament, conformation, ability and beauty. He is the ultimate amateur horse. In 2001 he was 5th in the nation in the Green Conformation Hunters. He was also National Champion in the National Hunter/Jumper Council, Green Conformation Hunters and Reserve Horse of the Year in the Pacific Coast Horse Association.
From 2002 - 2006 he had many Championships in the Amateur Owner Hunters. He was Reserve Champion in the Texas Hunter/Jumper Association Adult Hunters 36-49 in 2009 and Reserve Champion 2009 in Texas Hunter Jumper Association and Zone 7 Adult Hunters 36 - 49 and 36 and over.
