This young, athletic stallion is very gentle and curious. He has an uncommon suppleness and resiliency and he knows how to optimize his energy so he can jump in a spectacular way. He is brave to the fences and jumps with exceptional talent.
Corzo Z received scores of 9 for jumping, as well as for scope and technique at the CWHBA licensing. He was evaluated at the CWHBA licensing as "intelligent - he looks at the jump and chooses the best distance for every jump".
Corzo Z combines two legendary bloodlines, Cor de la Bryère and Landgraft I, both renowned for their ability to pass on international jumping agility. In his 1994 debut CALVIN Z headed the German Estimated Breeding Value list with over 143 sires. He continued to head the list in 1995 with a breeding index of 164! CALVIN Z is the son of CALETTO II, whose offspring won more than DM2 million. This amount was won by (among others) the Gold Medalist of the Olympic games of Barcelona, Classic Touch. Also Operette La Silla, Caretino, Cassandra and Cascadeur are well known progeny of Caletto II on the international jumping circuit.
Also notable is Calypso II who produced a number of international performers including Chin Chin, Contender, Classiker and Champ of Class. Calypso II progeny combine great jumping form with wonderful rideability.
The quality of Corzo's semen is exceptional. DVD available on request.
