Born in 2005, Crystal Crest stands 168 cms and boasts a 199 cms girth. With 22 cms of bone he is a lighter, more modern type of Irish Draught.

In 2011 he achieved his Silver Merit status from Horse Sport Ireland for jumping 6 double clears at 1.20m. During his inspection the judges commented on how he stands over plenty of ground with a good head/neck connection. Furthermore, they stated that he is a good mover with an active canter, showed power and athleticism in his jump, is very powerful in his back and open in his haunches.

Crystal Crest belongs to some of the oldest and greatest Irish Draught bloodlines. He is a grandson of both Mountain View and Sea Crest (sire of International showjumper, Cruising) and carries the lines of The Conquerer and Glenaygyle Rebel, to mention but a few.

Crystal Crest bred 36 mares in Ireland in 2011 as a 1st year Class One (1) RID stallion and has frozen semen available in Ireland.

Crystal Crest will continue his showjumping career in the US in 2012.

Frozen Semen also available in Ireland at 450 Euros per dose - not for export to the USA (plus 100 Euros booking fee per mare).
