In 2010 De Feiner Star was undefeated in Materiale and Stallion in-hand classes, earning Grand Championships at Fair Hill I and Stone Tavern, and being named the Stallion Champion of Dressage at Devon with a score over 83%. Star was a consistent winner in the FEI Young Horse divisions earning scores as high as 8.48%. He qualified for the US National Championships, finishing in 8th place and went on to finish 2nd in the USDF All-Breeds standings for the year.

In 2011, De Feiner Star started off his season with good ribbons in the FEI 5-year old classes and placed 4th overall at the FEI Young Horse East Coast Selection Trials. He also made his first outings at Second Level with scores of 68 % and 70%. In the fall, De Feiner Star once again was a winner at Dressage at Devon, this time winning the Stallions Under Saddle, his 4 & 5 year old Materiale class, and finishing Reserve Champion in the first ever Materiale Championship at Devon.

De Feiner Star is sired by De Laurentis who earned 9's or higher at his Stallion Test for character, temperament, constitution, willingness to work, and his walk. Grandsire De Niro was Reserve Champion of his Stallion Performance Test with a score of 141.93.

De Feiner Stern's dam is by Feiner Stern who produced 18 licensed sons. De Feiner Star's full-sibling, Drum Roll Please, was the 2010 USEF National Two-Year Old Hunter Breeding Champion and the Young Hunter Under Saddle winner of the Devon Horse Show.

De Feiner Star was licensed by ISR/Oldenburg with an overall score of 230.5 points, which ranks him in the top 15 of all ISR/Oldenburg stallions under the current scoring system. Highlights included scores of 8 or higher for type, trot, athletic ability, and jumping technique.
