Ikoon brings the North American breeder a record of proven performance, proven pedigree and proven offspring as well. Ikoon has offspring following him into the International Jumping ring as well as offspring in the National Dressage and National Eventing competitions.

Ikoon's daughter from his first breeding season, Ulrike R competed in the Show Jumping World Cup Finals in 2011.

Ikoon is approved with the KWPN having enjoyed a successful show jumping career in Europe at the National Grand Prix and International Nation's Cup level. This included a double clear performance for Holland, a second place finish in the 1999 Dutch National Championship and third in 2000 with rider Leopol van Asten. Ikoon was imported to Canada in 2001 and now breeders in North America have a rare opportunity to access fresh semen from an international jumping stallion with legendary bloodlines.

His Sire Libero H was 1994 World Cup Champion and later awarded the 'PREFERENT' predicate, the highest award a stallion can receive. Ikoon's dam's sire Nimmerdor was KWPN Stallion of the Century 2000 who produced not just world-renowed jumping horses but successful dressage horses as well.

Ikoon stamps his foals with his good looks, wonderful temperament, fantastic athletic ability and extensive versatility. You can expect to see many more of his foals excel at national and international levels in all disciplines.
