Tired of sitting that big warmblood trot? Try crossing your mare to the horse that has been bred for classical dressage, for a smooth yet powerful ride, to the only horse that is bred for Kings...
For centuries, the Andalusian has been the horse to cross with other breeds to improve athletic ability, soundness, and trainability. Alano HPF embodies all the desirable traits of the Classic Spanish Horse – movement, conformation, temperament and pedigree. He has an electrifying presence, powerful movement, fluid uphill transitions, natural collection and extension, incredible agility, tremendous jump, and a quiet and willing temperament.
Alano has exceptional bloodlines, combining parents bred for competitive dressage movement, classic Andalusian conformation and type, size and temperament. His sire was on the Sanish Olympic Dressage Training Team with Juan Antonio Jemez when he was imported to the United States, and his dam's sire is by the extraordinary 16.3 hh stallion Regalado II, who was the first colt by the renowned Spanish Military stallion Leviton to be imported to the United States from Spain.
The Andalusian has been bred for hundreds of years for classical dressage, for the ability to extend and collect the gaits and to engage the hindquarters for the ultimate dressage movements - the 'airs above the ground'. These characteristics also make the Andalusian a talented jumper, and combined with his natural balance, agility and soundness, Alano is the ideal choice to improve the qualities of any mare. His foals will have the athletic ability for the professional, combined with the Andalusian's famously safe temperament and smooth ride desired by riders of all abilities. Don't miss out on this opportunity to breed your mare to this outstanding young stallion.
