Partnered with juniors, amateurs and professionals, Ideal offspring have collected countless State, Regional and National Championships in Dressage, Jumping, Hunters and Eventing. Although he is recognized as a Dressage and Jumping sire, Ideal has recently made his influence known in Eventing. In 2009, amateur rider Ellen Guthrie rode her 6-year-old home bred gelding Ideal Life in the Bit of Britain American Eventing Championships. Guthrie and her "wonder horse" won the Amateur Beginner Novice Rider Division.
