Rodioso completed his 100 days test in 1999 and was licensed by the German Oldenburg Verband. He earned a Class I license and was given a "10" on character and a "9" on conformation and an "8" on temperament.

Rodioso's sire Rohdiamant was German State champion at age four and was rated among the top 5 dressage horses in the world when he was competing at Grand Prix with Olympic Medallist Lisa Wilcox. Rohdiamant traces his dam's line back to Inschallah, the Anglo-Arab from the Vorweck Stud. Rodioso's grand sire is the great Rubinstein I. His dam is by Furioso II, one of the most influential warmblood sires ever.

Rodioso's in-hand show record is excellent. Imported in 2001 he was named Grand Champion Stallion at Devon that year. In 2005 he was Grand Champion Stallion for the Cosequin/USDF Northwest Series Sporthorse Breeding and he placed 4th nationally in the USDF Sporthorse Breeding Horse of the Year with a score of 81.25%.

As riding horse Rodioso also excels. Rodioso began his FEI career in 2006 at Prix St. Georges. He achieved scores up to 71% and was awarded 5th place nationally by the USEF Silver Stirrup Awards program. In 2007 he made his Intermediate I debut and was named Reserve National Champion at that level with the USEF Silver Stirrup Awards program. In 2008 he again received national honors at Intermediate I. He is currently schooling Grand Prix. His rider is Pamela T. Pentz and they both regularly train with Jan Ebeling.

Known for his wonderful temperament and extraordinary looks he has proven to be a very fine sire in passing these fine qualities on to his foals. His offspring are making great headlines in the show ring as well. Rebecca a 2003 Premium filly made her debut at Training Level with a junior rider and a 69.9% in 2007. Ruffiano a 2005 colt out a Bavarian mare placed 1st in the New England Region 8 Finals in halter and was Reserve Champion NEDA colt for 2005. Rochambeau a ½ Arabian won his debut show with a 67% and in 2008 earned his Legion of Supreme Honor in dressage. Reno a colt of 2006 won his first halter class with an 81%. His foal crop of 2009 was very large and over 2/3 went premium.
