Farrington comes from a sound well-bred family. Farrington is one of the few Dutch stallions with famous dressage stallion Doruto in his blood. Doruto sired many top dressage horses: Olympic Barbria, Chevalier, Ideaal, etc. Sire, Wellington is well known as producer of quality movement in his offspring, siring dressage horses like Bollvorms Ceylon and Luxaflex.
Farrington was awarded the 'Keur' Predicate by the KWPN in 2002. This is prestigious for a stallion indicating a producer of great performance horses. Due to a leg fracture, Farrington was not able to perform in the sport, which is a pity because of the great talent he possesses. During his Stallion Test he received: 8 for basic gaits, 9 for temperament.
Daughter, Perry, became Dutch Reserve-Champion - 3 year old mares. Theandra became Dutch Reserve Champion - 'Keur/Elite' mares. Farrington's offspring perform well in the sport, resulting in his high index, with many performing at Grand Prix, including Limited Edition and Nashville.
2008 - Zen Rosa was #2 KWPN-NA National Elite mare.
2007 - Zoe Florence was #4 Mare in Ermelo Holland National Mare Championships. Daughter Uloma MG was #1 Elite Mare KWPN-NA in America. Son Uno MG was 13th OPEN USEF 1st Level.
2006 - Uloma MG 3rd overall amongst the KWPN-NA for USDF All Breed Awards in the FEI Five-Year-Old Division, and 19th overall in the U.S. Colt Bolero became First Premium and awarded Top-Ten status by the KWPN-NA. Son TD Prince Charming 5th in Holland at Z1 Level at Indoor Brabant.
2005 - Son, Michigan, with Catharine Malone, won the Individual Gold Medal at the NAYRC.
Farrington sires horses with an incredible willing character, powerful hind end and strong, excellent gaits. Fresh semen and back to all VDL stallions. Farrington is the only Keur stallion in America with fresh semen.
