Royal Prince was Reserve Champion of his 30-day and 70-day Performance Tests, earning 10's for his rideability and walk, and 9's for trot, canter, and willingness to work. As a five-year-old, he won the East Coast Selection Trials for the World Championships for Young Horses with an unprecedented score of 9.82 and finished in fourth place at the World Championships (the highest American finish to-date). Royal Prince has helped Michael Bragdell earn his USDF Bronze Medal and the pair also won the Third Level Reserve Championship at the BLM Championships. In 2009 they were ranked 20th in the nation at Fourth Level and 4th for AHS All-Breeds Awards. In 2010, Royal Prince debuted at Prix St. Georges with scores all in the mid to high 60's.
Royal Prince's sire Rohdiamant was a highly successful Grand Prix dressage competitor who was short-listed for the US Olympic Team. Grandsire Rubinstein also competed at the Grand Prix level and is known for the excellent rideability of his offspring. Royal Prince's dam Piri Piri is by the influential Thoroughbred stallion Prince Thatch xx.
Royal Prince's foal crops are showing their sire's elegance, refinement, and movement. In 2008, 2009, & 2010 Royal Prince was named the USEF Dressage Breeding Sire of the Year. Royal Prince daughters have scored very well at inspections and he already has a number of Elite and EMC daughters to his credit. Kid Rox (Royal Prince-Wallstreet Kid) is a successful Amateur Hunter and Becket, Rhosalina, and Reflection are all earning scores well into the 70's in the dressage ring. In 2011, EM Rheporter (Royal Prince-Weltmeyer) was the Grand Champion of Dressage at Devon.
