Navarone (Jus de Pomme x Armstrong) and Schroeder (Sandro Hit x Escudo I)

We had a long 8 hour drive to High Point Hanoverians. Angela Barilar, Klaus Schengber and all the Oldenburg inspection committee were very helpful and accommodating to get our stallions inspected and getting us on the road home early. Thanks! And the best news is that both Navarone and Schroeder are now approved with the Oldenburg GOV. This was our last inspection of the year. It has been a busy last 2 months, but we are very happy with our results and successes. Navarone, Schroeder and Farrington (Wellington x Doruto) are all backup to the VDL frozen we stock here, so we hope we have some new options for the breeders this year.
Navarone (Jus de Pomme x Armstrong) approved KWPN Dutch, OLD GOV, BWP, RPSI, Canadian Warmblood and Canadian Sporthorse.
Schroeder (Sandro Hit x Escudo I) approved Hannoverian, OLD GOV, ISR OLD, BWP, RPSI, Canadian Warmblood and Canadian Sporthorse, KWPN PROK and scoped Farrington KEUR (Wellington x Doruto) approved KWPN Dutch, BWP, Canadian Warmblood and Canadian Sporthorse. Ciola V (Tenerife x Derrick) Sold!
Congrats to Missy Bowsher (OH) on her purchase of the imported yearling Ciola V (Tenerife x Derrick). Missy has had super success with an imported yearling before Wikarike (Pacific x Nimmerdor) was 2nd in KY with David Jennings. She is looking forward to bring another young one along and we wish her the best of success again!

Donna Nita Super Success at the USDF Breed Shows....
Basil MG by Lancet out of our Keur Elite mare Miloma (Goodtimes x Dreamstreet) owned by Donna Nita (SC) reports: "Basil was a hit. He is a little high strung and acts like a stallion so he is always a handful when I take him places-but he does turn heads - he is gorgeous! The first morning he was hyper and tense but better and better as the weekend went on. IBC-KWPN - 1st place - 79%, European Warmbloods - 1st place - 80.3%, Geldings 2006 - 2nd place - 75.5, Gelding Championshp 2006 - RES Champion!"

"Dutchess G (Flemmingh x Rhodium) bred and owned by Donna Nita was Filly 2008 - 2nd 79%, KWPN-NA IBC - 2nd place - 75.7% Fillies 2008 - 1st - 74% She was VERY well behaved didn't spook at anything. Her dam Wolisa (Rhodium x Democraat) Mares- 76.2 % 2nd place, Wolisa is Reserve Champion for the Southeast Regionals Mare with a 77.8%" Congrats to Donna and all her fabulous horses.
Congrats to Maria Gaviria (CA) for a top Flemmingh filly Amaya 2008 filly (by Flemmingh) was top foal and site champion at the GOV Oldenburg inspection 9/17/08. They said she had 3 perfect gaits. Very cool. She is for sale, contact: bellafarms@roadrunner.com
Congrats to Kerri Sowers on her success with Adagio. Kerri Reports..."We took our 3yo Navarone gelding, Adagio out of Sales Topper by Fabled Monarch, to the Dressage at Stone Tavern Breed Show on Aug 28. He won the 3yo Colt/Gelding and also the KWPN-NA classes! He was very good for his first time out to a show...although he needs some patience lessons for standing in the trailer:) As long as he was moving around he was happy!
Congrats to Merry Bowman (KS) on her colt Debonair by Farrington. Debonair (Farrington x Rubenstein received a 1st premium at the KWPN-NA keuring. Merry says the judges said that standing in front of them, he takes your breath away. Debonair is bred and owned by Merry Bownman (KS) was also 2nd place 76.4% at the MASA breed show. Congrats to Merry and producing a beautiful colt!
Valante MG by Indoctro out of Larinette by Accord II success. Betty Beyers reports "I've had some successes myself with Valante this summer. Most recently, we showed in August at the Trader's Point Hunt show in Indianapolis. He was VERY good - 3/3 clear rounds in the Level 4 Jumpers. It's so easy for him and I anticipate we'll make the move up to the Low A.O. Jumpers possibly at the Fall Kentucky or this year's Florida circuit. He's such a "Steady Eddy" and quite reliable . . . great amateur-type of guy . . . awesome boy! He's really maturing nicely and growing into his large frame. I have so many compliments on him everywhere I go. Everyone is in awe of his size and his capabilities." Congrats to Betty!
Congrats to Jacki Ahl-Eckhaus and Wisdom MVS (Farrington x Flemmingh). Jacki and her gelding Wisdom MVS (Farrington x Flemmingh) finished 8th overall for the 5 year old 2008 USEF Young Horse and Developing Horse Dressage National Championships. I hear the weather was really hard with high winds and a true test of some of the horses characters.
Congrats to Raja Lahti on her success with Carette MG. Carette MG (His Highness x Silvano) bred by Majestic Gaits out of our Elite mare Torette R was #2 yearling filly and Reserve in the Filly Championship. Congrats to Raja and a good job by Breand and Filbert.

Grand Prix of Arezzo in Italy...
The Emilion-mare Seldana has won the Grand Prix of Arezzo in Italy, Seldana is ridden by Natale Chiaudani and was 2 times clear in the jump-off.
In the Brasilian Championship....
- Free jumping class for 3 years old jumpers Champion became Rotterdam 3K (Indoctro x Ahorn)
- Placed 2nd was Rio Bravo 3K (by Emilion) Champion in the Free jumping class for 4 years old jumpers became the Indoctro-mare Queviana 3K.
