Cabana Boy, Bugatti Hilltop & Donarweiss GGF

After enjoying a brief winter break from showing, the Hilltop Team and horses made their 2009 debut at the Gold Coast Opener January 23-25.
Cabana Boy (Contucci – Bordeaux) made his first appearance at Prix St. Georges. The first day had him surprised with this "new" test but he still had a strong showing and finished just outside of the ribbons. Cabana Boy completed the competition in top form winning the USEF Developing Horse class and the FEI Test of Choice with a top score of 71.053%.
Bugatti Hilltop (Bergamon – Rubenstein I) showed his consistency earning 5th in the Prix St. Georges CDIW and the Intermediaire I CDIW as well as taking 2nd in the Intermediaire I Freestyle with a score of 68.25%.
In his single class of the competition, Greengate Stud's Donarweiss GGF (De Niro – Hohenstein) placed 3rd in the Prix St. Georges. Congratulations Hilltop Team and best wishes as the 2009 competition swings into gear!
