He was a little directionally challenged in the nursing department, but after sorting out that the wall wasn't going to provide anything he got it right and had an IGG of over 800 this morning. Ivy is handling motherhood like a trooper, and loves her baby almost to distraction. I left the camera in the barn in my sleep deprived state, so when I recover I will send you pictures. He is a very dark bay with almost a bald (white) head - the eyes are still dark but a really unusual and wide blaze - almost shocking to see it as I was not expecting any white as I didn't think RP threw that! He has two tall stockings on the left side (I think) and solid on the other two. He was up and nursing on his own in no time and is trotting around the stall at barely 3 hours old. Really a handsome boy. I will want to repeat this cross!!!"
